Spring Break in Boca
I don’t know if this will come as a surprise, but I don’t love a beach vacation. I like to explore, and to have something different to look forward to everyday, and to me, the beach is boring. Unfortunately for me, my little family of four loves a beach vacation.
This spring break, I was outnumbered, and I agreed to find the perfect property to spend a week in the sun. It wasn’t a hard decision to choose to stay at The Boca Raton in Florida. With over 200 acres of waterfront real estate, five different hotel products, and more restaurants than we had time for, it checked a box for everyone.
We opted to stay in the Bungalows, which are a bit removed from the main buildings, but we like a little more space in having two full bedrooms, a patio, and a washer and dryer is always welcomed! I found them very charming and would absolutely recommend them to any family considering a stay. The Bungalows have their own pool, a putting green, nightly activities like s’mores and movie nights, and the kids favorite part; a pink Moke that sits out front to take you to other parts of the property.
Our favorite dinner on property was The Japanese Bocce Club. Not only was the food delicious, but the patio backs up to the bocce court and croquet lawn, so the kids could frolic within our line of sight, while we could savor every bite.
I got my wish in that I looked forward to experiencing something different each day. With the multiple pools and beach club, there was never the feeling of having to repeat anything just to pass the time.
After a week-long stay, I can honestly say that I wasn’t ready to leave.
I am looking forward to returning to The Boca Raton, and would highly recommend any family looking for a warm and enjoyable weektogether to keep it at the top of their travel list.
